Rama

The design of the Rama armchair is inspired by Japanese origami. The folded upholstery of the headrest is a recognisable detail of this art of folding. With its curved and angular shapes, Rama invites you to take a seat. The double skin upholstery of the seat shell guarantees a sleek play on the outside while the soft inside guarantees sitting comfort. A remarkable detail is the leather strap on the back of this winged chair.

CASALA CIRCULAR

In Casala furniture, as much recycled raw material as possible is used to minimise the impact on the planet when it comes to mining new materials. The Rama frame contains 40% recycled material, which is currently the highest percentage possible to guarantee a solid product.

Shell
Wooden seat shell with high-quality HR Eco foam with a layer of Dacron.
Solid wooden seat shell with steel no-sag suspension, equipped with high-quality HR Eco foam. A layer of Dacron is placed over the foam. This drastically reduces friction and wear of the fabric.

Base
4-toed steel base finished with a matte fine powder coating. Stainless steel base and a rotatable steel 4-leg base are optional. Powder coating available in various standard colours. Alternative colours on request.

Upholstery
Aside from the Casala upholstery, there is a wide fabric collection available from renowned manufacturers. Alternative upholstery on request.
