Thanks to its ergonomic design, Onyx is ideal for company restaurants, seminars and meetings. Its excellent functionality and great versatility mean that it combines perfectly with various Casala tables, such as Blender and Lacrosse.

Two types of shells

The shell of the Onyx II is available in a range of materials, making the chair suitable for diverse business environments. The natural beech version offers a warm, timeless appearance, while the plastic version is practical, robust and particularly suitable for intensive daily use. The fully upholstered version provides enhanced sitting comfort and contributes to a professional and comfortable space.

Ewalt Kommer and Jeroen Kors (both 1969) focus on creating designs with added functional value, driven more by emotional experience than by technical aesthetics. After gaining professional experience in Hamburg and Leiden, they established their design studio in Schoonhoven (NL). They met during their studies in The Hague and have since created a diverse range of products, from pens to sofas and from soap dispensers to exhibition stands. Their work has been recognised with several distinctions, including the Dutch Design Award in 2003.
