After his studies in Industrial Design at the Elisava School of Design in Barcelona, designer Mario Ruiz (1965, Alicante, Spain) started his professional career in 1995. In part due to his craftsmanship and experience in different fields, Ruiz won the trust of more than 120 leading international companies and realised projects in Australia, the USA, Canada and Europe, among others. His work has been awarded over forty prestigious awards in Europe and the US, such as Red Dot, IF, Design Plus, Wallpaper, Awards08 and the ADI-FAD Silver Delta Awards. For more than ten years, Ruiz has been a teacher at the Eina and Elisava design academies in Barcelona.
