The Estrel Congress Center in Berlin is the ideal place to hold your conferences, congresses, gala evenings, exhibitions and media-events. Each year, more than 1,800 events are held at the biggest exhibition and conference centre in Europe.
From a wide range of chairs, Casala’s Lynx chair was chosen to replace the existing chairs. Klaus Peters, Director of Purchasing, explains: “The basic selection criteria were functionality, durability and design. The chairs had to meet the most stringent of requirements and had to be able to be used as sturdy chairs for shows, as high-quality chairs for banquets and also as conference chairs.”

Apart from the design of the chairs, they also had to be very comfortable and pleasant to sit in. “We often change the lay-out of chairs in a room and this changeover task has to be carried out in very little time. The chairs are tested severely during stacking and unstacking tasks. After thorough checks on all of the criteria, the Lynx chair was chosen. It met all of the requirements perfectly!”
