With the addition of Gabo Modular to the Gabo programme, maximum integration and adjustment inside every room is possible. The various elements work together to link spaces or to divide them into multiple sections.

Gabo Modular is made up of straight, curved and corner seats and back elements in various sizes. In addition, there are various table elements with integrated LED lighting and storage space. When combined, all elements lead to a multitude of interesting compositions.

Endless possibilities with Gabo Modular

The Gabo Modular programme opens up endless possibilities for meeting room and hospitality area design, allowing configurations to be fully customised using a broad selection of seating, wall and table elements. The integrated back elements echo the design language of the seating while contributing to improved acoustics and overall comfort.

AZ Heilig Hart

Leuven - BE

The reception area of AZ Heilig Hart Leuven (Belgium) forms the heart of the hospital: an open and welcoming space where patients, visitors and staff come together. For this central area, the Gabo Modular programme by Casala, designed by Mario Ruiz, was selected. This modular system consists of seating and wall elements in various shapes and dimensions, allowing for maximum integration and customisation.

After studying Industrial Design at the Elisava School of Design in Barcelona, Mario Ruiz began his career in 1995. His craftsmanship and experience in different fields, earned him the trust of more than 120 international companies, leading to projects across Europe, the USA, Canada and Australia. Mario Ruiz has received over forty major design awards, including Red Dot, iF and ADI-FAD Silver Delta. He has also taught for more than ten years at the Eina and Elisava design academies in Barcelona.
