Casala specialises in the production of stylish contract furniture that excels in both design and functionality. “Design linked to Functionality” is deeply rooted within our DNA and plays a major role in the design process. We work together with leading designers in our industry. More than hundred years of experience in furniture guarantees that Casala furniture offers a lot of comfort and ease of use in addition to high quality.
Casala has a great answer to the request for a multifunctional, accessible table; Blender! A modular table made up of a base, column and table top. The table is easily set up by attaching the column to the foot plate using a twisting movement. The table top is then placed vertically on the column and the table is fixed by placing the top in a horizontal position. All of this is achieved without tools.
In close cooperation with Der Grüne Punkt, Casala has produced chairs whose seat and back are made from 100% recycled plastic household waste. The use of recycled plastics is an important link to save on natural resources, reduce the environmental impact and also ensure the quality and commercial value of contract furniture.
De Goede Doelen Loterijen moved at the end of 2018 to a completely renovated building on the Amsterdam Zuidas, the Netherlands. All eco, environmental and energy measures that have been taken have resulted in BREAAM Outstanding certification for the sustainable design, construction process and operational management of the building. Casala supplied refurbished Curvy chairs and Lynx shells for the auditorium. The colors red, orange, green and yellow refer to the different lotteries and provide a homely feeling.
Designer Andreas Ostwald tells the story behind our 100 year anniversary model, Centuro. During the design process for Centuro, Andreas Ostwald was inspired by the form of a tulip. This brings past and present together. Casala is a Dutch company with a rich German history.
