Cognizant

Amsterdam - NL

With a strong focus on IT services, innovation, and optimising business processes, Cognizant supports companies in their digital transformation. The company is located in a former chewing gum factory. For this unique location, an interior concept was developed that evokes the atmosphere of a contemporary studio: an environment that connects employees and encourages project-based working.

A place where colleagues and clients alike can work independently or together in a homely, comfortable setting. A key requirement was the full integration of electrification into the workstations. This led to the choice for Bricks, the modular soft-seating programme by designer Robert Bronwasser. The versatility of Bricks makes customisation simple and also contributes to optimal acoustics. The use of warm red tones creates ambience and playfully gives each working zone its own identity.

“From the traditional workplace to an open space with furniture suited to both meetings and focused work.”

Focus & privacy

The large open spaces create transparency on the one hand, but also increase the need for privacy on the other. For phone calls and focused work, several Boston phone booths have therefore been installed.

Concentration in the open office

Employees who want to work in a concentrated manner without completely shutting themselves off can opt for Capsule. The rounded shapes and rich upholstery in two warm, earthy tones form a beautiful contrast with the cool, industrial character of the office.
