NBC Congrescentrum in Nieuwegein is a family run business that has been hosting business events since 1992, from small meetings to conferences and trade fairs with thousands of visitors. It is a place where people come together to share knowledge, meet and connect. Personal hospitality and a professional appearance are central to every event.
Casala furnished the halls at NBC with products as versatile as the spaces themselves. Curvy chairs and Temo Fliptop tables allow a room to be transformed quickly from a meeting setup to a dinner setting, or from a training session to a plenary session.
Meetings in a U shape
For meetings and workshops, Temo Fliptop tables and Curvy chairs are arranged in a U shape. Everyone has a clear view of both the presentation screen and each other, while the tables provide ample space for laptops and documents. Afterwards, the tables can be folded quickly thanks to the fliptop function. Castors make them easy to move to another hall or storage area.
When hosting a dinner, the hall can quickly be transformed into a different layout. Curvy chairs are placed around the tables in a banqueting setup, keeping guests comfortable even during a full evening dinner. This allows a business setting to become a sophisticated environment for a dinner or gala.
In NBC’s smaller halls, Curvy chairs are arranged in rows facing the presenter. The layout can easily be adapted to the number of participants, either by adding more chairs or creating more space for a smaller group. The Temo Fliptop table provides a central point for the presenter and complements the chairs in both design and appearance.
In the Grand Hall, hundreds of Curvy chairs are arranged in orderly rows facing the stage. The chairs support a relaxed seating position, even during longer programmes. Curvy chairs stack compactly and can be transported on a trolley. After a session, the Grand Hall can therefore be prepared quickly for the next event and the layout it requires.
With Curvy chairs and Temo tables, NBC has furniture that is ready for every hall and every type of setup. This allows the spaces to change function quickly, without compromising on comfort or appearance.
