Erik Munnikhof

Erik Munnikhof (1959) se donne pour mission de réunir les différents aspects d'un design intelligent, tout en prenant en compte l’ergonomie et la rentabilité. Il a étudié le design à Delft et a reçu de nombreuses distinctions pour son travail. L’idée d’amélioration continue est ce qui le pousse à perfectionner chaque nouvelle ébauche. Depuis 2009, Erik travaille en tant que designer indépendant et encadre également des étudiants et de jeunes designers sur divers projets. Pour la table Metro, il a reçu l’iF Design Award 2024.

Metro is a modular table programme with unlimited possibilities in terms of shape and size. The T-, X- or Y-shaped profiles can be linked in many ways, creating an entirely individual Metro network. Metro’s frame can carry a large weight with ease and offers ultimate stability to determine the shape, size and materials of the table itself. The Metro table is available in standard, counter and bar height.
