Sigurd Rothe

Sigurd Rothe († 2015) was ervan overtuigd dat echte designkwaliteit ligt in eenheid en samenhang. Na van 1970 tot 1979 voor verschillende bureaus te hebben gewerkt, richtte hij zijn eigen studio op, waar hij producten ontwikkelde, onderzoek deed en modellen en prototypes vervaardigde. Zijn ontwerpen varieerden van winkelinterieurs tot medische hulpmiddelen. Hij ontving talrijke nationale en internationale onderscheidingen, waaronder Red Dot: Best of the Best (2002), GIO (2001) en Best of NeoCon Silver (2005).
