Sigurd Rothe

Sigurd Rothe († 2015) war davon überzeugt, dass wahre Designqualität in Einheit und Kohärenz liegt. Nachdem er von 1970 bis 1979 für verschiedene Agenturen gearbeitet hatte, gründete er sein eigenes Studio, in dem er Produkte entwickelte, Forschung betrieb sowie Modelle und Prototypen herstellte. Seine Entwürfe reichten von Ladeneinrichtungen bis hin zu medizinischen Hilfsmitteln. Er erhielt zahlreiche nationale und internationale Auszeichnungen, darunter Red Dot: Best of the Best (2002), GIO (2001) und Best of NeoCon Silver (2005).
