Edward van Vliet (1965, Winterswijk) graduated from the Design Academy of Eindhoven in 1989. In 1990, he founded his own multidisciplinary design studio in Amsterdam. Studio Edward van Vliet or SEVV offers complete design solutions. Van Vliet has its own style and signature and is not led by trends. Traditional design is mixed with high tech and/or natural materials with production techniques oriented towards the future. Together with elements from various cultures, it results in an eclectic design method without an abundance of decoration.
