Why personal data?
By visiting our website or as a Casala customer you share all kinds of personal data with us. You also share personal data when you contact our sales support department. You do not have to worry about this. You can rely on us to handle your personal data with care.

What is personal data?
Personal data is information that tells something about you or that can be directly traced back to you. There are many types of personal data: your name, address or e-mail address, but this also includes the IP address of your computer. It concerns all data that can be related to you.

How does Casala process personal data?
We need your personal data to be able to advise you about our products and services, and to make sure the sale of these products and services run as smoothly as possible. From a legal point of view, processing is a broad concept. Processing consists of all actions that can be carried out with personal data. Casala processes personal data by, among other things, collecting, storing, changing, retrieving, using and providing personal data by means of forwarding or destroying data.

How does Casala store personal data?
Casala retains your personal data to the extent necessary to serve you, and to the extent necessary or permitted by law. Personal data that is no longer required will be deleted as soon as possible. Casala operates secure and legally approved systems to protect your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing.

With whom does Casala share your personal data?
Casala takes great care when processing your personal data. Your personal data is initially only available to Casala. However, sometimes it is necessary for us to share your personal data with others. There may therefore be situations in which it is necessary for your personal data to be linked and checked with partners.

How satisfied are you?
We also use your personal data for analysis in order to improve our services or, for example, to contact you if there is a change in your order or delivery time. It is also possible that you will be invited for an (online) customer satisfaction survey.

Casala would like to inform you
Casala also uses your personal data – to the extent permitted by law – to inform you about products and/or services that may be of interest to you from Casala affiliates. We may also send you general information about Casala that we think is relevant to you.

Do you no longer want to receive commercial information?
You can indicate at any time that you no longer wish to receive commercial information. You can inform us by sending an e-mail to privacy@casala.com. We will then no longer send you information. Please take into account there may be some processing time.

Can your data be modified or deleted?
You can always contact us with a request to view and/or correct, supplement, delete or protect your personal data if they are factually incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant. You can also invoke the right of forgetfulness and data portability as described in the new GDPR. You can also object to the processing of your personal data.

Please note: If you do not (any longer) consent to the processing of your personal data, this automatically means that we as a customer can no longer be of service to you.

You can have your data modified or deleted by contacting us at privacy@casala.com.

How long do we store your data?
In accordance with the law, all Casala administrative data is kept for seven years. Personal data is included in our CRM system for an indefinite period of time.

Right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Authority
